Dear Friends,

Twelve years ago, the first Montreal Women’s Cycling World Cup was presented on historic Mont Royal.  For me, the presentation of each of the race’s twelve editions embodied the image and emotion of the sport: cycling is one of the most demanding activities in the sporting world, however the feeling of accomplishment one gets after performing well in a race has no equal. Cycling and the organization of cycling events will always command that extra effort that makes of us winners in our own dimension.

Victory stands on team work. I would like to thank my tremendous team who works hard to make these events a success. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to all of the towns involved, the Provincial and Federal governments, and to our sponsors. Thanks to them, the cream of the crop in women’s cycling will once again return to participate in the 12th edition of the Montreal World Cup and the 8th edition of Tour de Grand Montreal.
